Prasad is a seasoned finance professional with 18+ years of experience in reputed global organizations such as KPMG, Grant Thornton and Yahoo!
At KPMG, he worked on various statutory and tax audits and developed expertise in the financial statements analysis and regulatory compliance. At Grant Thornton, he led the team on financial due diligence, fundraising and valuation projects for marquee PE / VC firms and corporates.
At Yahoo, as a Finance Director, he successfully implemented financial systems and processes, strengthened the tax & regulatory compliance, improved financial controls and successfully led legal entity structuring (M&A and spin-off). He is also a member on the Board of Directors and CSR committee of Yahoo entities in India.
His core competencies include finance automation, establishing statutory and tax compliance, implementing systems and processes, strengthening internal controls, executing accounting discipline, integrations of finance operation, helping business achieve its goals and preparing for fundraising and investments. He initiated and led M&A spin-off projects to unlock organization value and repatriate funds in the tax effective manner.
He is a Chartered Accountant by profession and has accomplished Executive General Management Program with IIM Bangalore and Executive Management Program in Strategic Finance from IIM Lucknow.
He actively participates in many CFO events and contributes in panel discussions. He was also recognized as a Emerging Finance Leader by Transformance Forums in the year 2023.
